Terms & Conditions – Zeal Connect Desk

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By accessing or using Zeal Connect Desk, or by connecting your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application. 

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the legal authority to bind that organization. 

Description of Service 

Zeal Connect Desk is a cloud-based customer support ticketing platform. It connects to Gmail and Microsoft Outlook to import inbound emails, create and manage support tickets, process hotel booking workflows, send emails on your behalf, and automate customer support operations. 

Mailbox Authorization 

By connecting your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 mailbox, you authorize Zeal Connect Desk to access your mailbox solely for the features you enable, including reading and sending emails for customer support, booking processing, hotel reconfirmation, and workflow automation. You confirm that you are the authorized owner of, or have explicit permission to connect, the mailbox being connected. 

You are responsible for all emails sent through the Application using your connected mailbox. Zeal Connect Desk requests only the minimum permissions necessary. We do not access Google Drive, Calendar, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Contacts, or any service not described in these Terms. 

Google Workspace Integration 

By connecting a Google Workspace account, you authorize Zeal Connect Desk to use the following Gmail API scopes for the described purposes only: 

• gmail.readonly – Reading inbound emails for ticket creation and booking extraction 

• gmail.modify – Applying labels, marking emails as read, syncing inbox with ticket statuses 

• gmail.send – Sending customer support replies and reconfirmation emails on your behalf 
  
  

Zeal Connect Desk’s use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is never used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond those described in these Terms. 

Microsoft 365 Integration 

By connecting a Microsoft 365 account, you or your Microsoft 365 administrator authorize Zeal Connect Desk to use the following Microsoft Graph API permissions: 

• Mail.Read – Reading inbound emails for ticket creation 

• Mail.ReadWrite – Organizing inbox in sync with ticket statuses 

• Mail.Send – Sending emails on behalf of the authorized user 

• User.Read – Identifying the connected account 
  
  

Access is granted only after explicit user or administrator OAuth 2.0 consent. Use is strictly limited to the purposes described in these Terms. 

Acceptable Use 

You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes. You must not use the Service to: 

• Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk emails 

• Violate any applicable law or regulation 

• Impersonate any person or entity 

• Interfere with the Service’s security or infrastructure 

• Violate Google’s or Microsoft’s Terms of Service or API usage policies 

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or resell the Application without written authorization 
  
  

Data and Privacy 

Your use of the Service is governed by the Zeal Connect Desk Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. You retain ownership of all data you submit to or generate through the Service. Zeal Connect processes your data solely to operate the Service on your behalf. 

AI-Powered Features 

Zeal Connect Desk uses AI to classify tickets, extract booking data, and suggest replies. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before sending. Zeal Connect does not guarantee the accuracy of AI outputs. Email content is never used to train general AI models or for advertising. 

Third-Party APIs 

The Service integrates with Google Gmail API and Microsoft Graph API. Your use is also subject to Google’s Terms of Service and Microsoft’s Terms of Service. Zeal Connect is not liable for disruptions caused by changes to third-party APIs or services. 

Termination 

You may disconnect your mailbox or delete your account at any time. Zeal Connect may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by applicable law. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with the Privacy Policy. 

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability 

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Zeal Connect is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim. Zeal Connect is not responsible for outages caused by Google, Microsoft, or other third-party service providers. 

Changes to These Terms 

Zeal Connect may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email and in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance. 

Governing Law 

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.
